Why rent instead of buy?

Let’s be honest, purchasing maternity dresses or gowns  can become quite an expense. Mama Bump Rentals wants to give you the opportunity to look radiant for your special events. Why fill up your closet with formal wear that you only plan to wear once? Mama Bump Rentals allows you the flexibility to rent a gown that not only makes you feel beautiful and keep up with the latest trend but can be done at a fraction of the cost.  

Can I reserve for a future date?

Certainly. Simply select your start date to the day you would like your gown to arrive by. It will arrive on or before the start date requested.

What is the condition of the inventory?

Mama Bump Rentals gowns and garments are professionally cleaned and inspected before every shipment. We hold a high standard in reliability when it comes to fulfilling the needs of our customers. If a gown no longer meets the standard, it is promptly removed from our inventory.  All our gowns are in new to good used condition.

How does Mama Bump Rentals work?

1) Find it: Choose the perfect gown for your specific date. Options are chosen by different styles, length, and color, or even need by date. We have multiple dresses from many designers.  It’s all up to you!

2) Reserve it: Select a “start date” and we will ensure that your gown will arrive to you on or prior to your specified date. Please be specific when placing your order. The rental agreement consist of a 7-day period but may extend for an additional cost.

3) Return it: Enjoy the gown for your special event and look Radiant! When you are finished using the gown place it in the return package provided with afixed return label. The prepaid label needs to be scanned before 12pm on or before the “end date”.  Each return label has a tracking number which will allow Mama Bump Rentals to track the order and it’s progress.

What are my delivery options?

Standard: USPS Priority $13 including return label. Dress will arrive on your start date.

Rush Order: USPS Priority Express starting at $30 (1-2 day shipping). Dress will arrive 2-3 days prior to start date excluding Sundays and Holidays. The end date remains the same as scheduled.

Processing Times are 1-3 days

What if the gown does not fit?

Please read the sizing chart to make sure you rent the correct size. No refunds or exchanges for incorrect sizes are available.

What if I return the gown late or not at all?

A $25 late fee per day will apply directly to the credit card that was used on the order. There is a 200% charge for the value of the garment that is not returned to Mama Bump Rentals for any reason. Late fees are applied over the cost of the rental fees of the order.

What if I lose the return package/label?

If the return package with return label have been lost, a new one will need to be purchased at your own cost. Please be aware that late fees will apply if orders are not received upon agreed return date.

What about stains or damages to the dress?

We understand there are circumstance under which certain wear and tear cannot be avoided. Mama Bump Rentals offers a $5 rental insurance coverage that covers ONLY normal wear and tear. Significant damages or stains to the garment will result in charges to the credit card on file to cover the cost of the repair, or even full replacement of the garment. More information can be found in our Rental Agreement.

Do I need to clean the gown/dress before I return it?

No, every gown/dress will be fully inspected and properly cleaned once it has been received.

What if I lose or never return a dress?

If a gown is never returned for any circumstance the fee of 200% purchase price of a new gown will be charged towards your Credit Card.
