Inspired by the opportunity to empower and uplift women, Rebecca Chaves found her passion for dress design as a designer for J&L Designs. Years of handcrafting dresses showed Chaves the beauty fashion can bring to life and the financial burden a designer maternity dress purchase can impose. Chaves knew the joy a perfect dress could bring and set out to make maternity shoot fashion accessible and affordable.
Mama Bump Rentals comes from humble beginnings: Chaves began hand-making dresses in her sister’s basement with just $700. As a full-time mom and designer, she knew this dream would take more than just herself. The love and support of fellow military wives helped bring the Mama Bump Rentals vision to life.

For over 15 years, we’ve specialized in maternity, newborn, and family photography. During that time, we have seen firsthand how important it is to have a maternity gown that makes you feel confident and beautiful. When we heard that Mama Bump Rentals was going to be closing its doors, we knew we couldn’t let that happen. Taking over Mama Bump Rentals means we can support both moms and photographers with our curated maternity gowns, designed for unforgettable photo shoots.

THE RENTAL PROCESS
Select Your Style: Extravagant evening wear, flowy casual dress, and anything in between: we believe you should enjoy a beautiful pregnancy dress and a beautiful bump at all times, without breaking the bank. Choose from dozens of rental gowns in custom maternity styles and colors.
Choose Size and Fit: Need to rent the perfect maternity dress? Look at our gown size charts. Most Mama Bump maternity gowns are measured by the rib cage or the bottom of the bra line.
Scheduling: Select a maternity dress rental start date that works best for you. We recommend a start date that is a few days before your event or maternity photo shoot. You will be charged a rental fee once you reserve your dress. You can rent a pregnancy gown in 5 day increments.
Return Your Gown: Use the prepaid label enclosed to easily package and return your gown to us. No-wash or dry cleaning needed. We take care of that for you.
